I've Majorly Hit Pan...

Hi everyone! Today I thought I would talk about the products that I have used to within an inch of their lives. So much so that I have majorly hit pan on all of them and have to ration my use of them. It's always useful to see what products people actually love and eventually use up.
Makeup Revolution Salvation Palette Iconic Pro 2: I know I've talked about this a million times already but I've hit pan on 3 eyeshadows in this palette. 3 whole eyeshadows! I first featured this in my May Favourites so I've only had it about 5 months and I'm going to have to buy a new one soon, that has to be some kind of record for an eyeshadow palette.
Nars Laguna Bronzer: I haven't used this in a while because I think it's more of a winter bronzer but in all honesty I'm also scared to use it because I can't afford to replace it when it inevitably bites the dust. It's the perfect cool toned bronzer with amazing pigmentation, I heartily recommend this bronzer, especially for autumn and winter.
Soap & Glory Solar Powder Bronzer: This has featured in so many of my looks of the day/month. It's my favourite drugstore bronzer because of how high end it feels. It's got the two different shades so it'll work on lots of different skin tones but swirling the brush in both is perfect for my skin, it's been my go to bronzer for the summer because it's more warm toned than Laguna. It's also got good pigmentation but I find it hard to go over the top with it. The packaging has changed to plastic rather than cardboard which is great because mine has fallen apart (the lid ripped off one day) and thankfully the price hasn't gone up with the changes which would have been a total dick move. I'm probably going to try and get through my other bronzers first before I buy a new one but I definitely would buy this again in the future.
Illamasqua Cream Pigment in Hollow: If I could go be bothered to go back and count how many times this has popped up on my blog I would. If you're after a new contour shade this is the first thing I would suggest, it's super grey toned but because it's a cream product it looks so much more natural. Thankfully I have a baby version of this in an Illamasqua palette but when I run out of both I will either cry a river or fork out the money for a new one. Probably the latter.

That's all for today! Thanks for stopping by, lots of love,

Square Snaps: Polaroid Prints!

Hello everyone! Today I thought I'd talk about a website I've ordered from twice now and that website is Square Snaps. I decided I wanted to get some pictures printed but in a polaroid style rather than regular 4"x6" photos and after a spot of research this seemed to be the best value website I could find. You get 27 prints for £9.99 and then its 37p for every extra one you want and you get free delivery as well. You don't realise how many 27 is until you're trawling through your instagram trying to find 2 extra pictures to make up the numbers (you can use a mixture of photos from your instagram or your computer).
The prints arrive really quickly (about 2 days) and they come in this gorgeous shiny silver packaging which is a nice touch. The prints are also really great quality. The paper they're printed on is thick and not too shiny but not too matte either. The brightest photos work the best but I also like how darker ones look because they look like they could be taken on an actual polaroid camera. I love having photos printed so much, I can't wait to put them on my cork board in my new uni room; I also think they would be great for scrapbooking, or just to keep for the memories.
I really recommend Square Snaps if you want some cute polaroid prints in your life! Oh and you can also get mini ones which look absolutely adorable and I really, really want some.
Thanks for stopping by! Lots of love,

Shop Dixi Little Luna Moonstone Ring and Enya Turquoise Ring

Hi everyone! I think it's time to admit that my penchant for Shop Dixi rings has turned into a full blown addiction. I've had two new additions to my collection of late and I thought I would share them with you today. On with the post!

shop dixi little luna moonstone ring
It was my birthday at the end of August and my best friend bought me this gorgeous piece of gorgeousness. I've worn it literally everyday since she gave it to me. The moonstone is a pale white/grey but in certain lights there are hints of blue which is really beautiful. It fits perfectly on my index finger (she sneakily found out what size I wore, I completely didn't clock on) and, being from Shop Dixi, it goes perfectly with all my other rings. Well done, Emily, well done.

The Shop Dixi website had a Labor Day weekend (whatever that is) sale where there was 40% off selected lines and, let me tell you... one does not simply ignore a 40% off sale. I've wanted a turquoise ring for the longest time and while this is more on the green side of turquoise I still absolutely love it. I went for the smaller size which fits my middle finger so I can wear this and the previous ring next to each other which looks amazing in my opinion.

I can pretty much guarantee that this won't be the last time I feature Shop Dixi on my blog. What can I say, I have a problem. I hope you enjoyed this post! Thanks for stopping by, lots of love,

Autumn: Lipsticks I can't wait to wear...

Hey everybody! Today I'm going to be talking about the lipsticks that I can't wait to start wearing again this autumn. I am a bold lip girl through and through so I love that I can crack out the dark reds and berry shades at this time of year.
Mac Diva: This lipstick is the most perfect dark red going. There are no berry undertones in this which I love and I also love the matte, but not drying finish.
Mac Rebel: Rebel is such a popular shade and it's easy to see why. You can apply it full on for a dark purple or work it into the lips for a gorgeous but difficult to describe bright purple.
Nars Audacious Lipstick in Olivia: This is another of my favourite dark red shades. You can read more about it in this post I did all the way back in January!
Burberry Bright Poppy: I found this in Tk Maxx and I'm really looking forward to wearing it. It's matte and the perfect berry shade.
YSL Rouge Volupte in 18: My bestie Emily bought me this for my birthday last year and I'm so excited to wear it more this year. I'd say it's a glossy version of Mac Rebel in some seriously stunning packaging.
Maybelline Color Drama in Berry Much and Red Essential: These are some of my favourite drugstore lipsticks, the formula, the shade range; I love everything about these and they will be definitely making an appearance in my autumn looks.

Sorry there weren't any pictures showing these on my lips but they're pretty much all matte and dark... I'd have no lips by the end if I attempted to take pictures of them all on.  Thanks for stopping by anyway and I hope you enjoyed this post! Lots of love,

Home Haul

Hi everyone! In case you didn't know I will be starting university very soon which means moving out of my already tiny room and into an even smaller room.  I already struggle to find space to put all my crap so logically I've been buying lots more crap. Here's what I've been buying to make me feel more at home in my new surroundings.  copper wire basket
I hate how much I love the copper trend as I'm sure it will pass soon and I'll be left with a tonne of copper themed items I don't want anymore. However I couldn't resist this wire basket from H&M Home. I don't really know what I'll use it for, I thought about a bin but I think the holes might be too big for that. I'm sure I'll find a way to use it though because I loooove it.

wire copper basket
Urban Outfitters Cabo Copper Pencil Holder
Again with the copper, I won't be able to move for copper in my new room! I'm currently using this to store my makeup brushes (face brushes that is, I put an eyeshadow brush in and it fell straight out the bottom, hilarity ensued), I think it's going to look really cool on my new desk.
Primark Hangers and Tiger Towel Hook
I am constantly in need of more hangers and naturally I went for these copper ones I spotted in Primark. You get 5 in a pack for £3 I think which isn't as good value as their other hangers (the velvety/felt ones) but I prefer how these look. I really want to get more but can't find them in the Primarks I've visited recently. And I got this towel hook when I was in London, my room probably has somewhere to hang a towel but I'm sure I'll find a way to use this. It was only £2 anyway.
Tiger Bowl and Pot
Tiger is so cheap and has some really cool pieces. Specifically this geometric bowl and pot (which I think I'll use for my toothpaste and toothbrush).

If you love homeware and you haven't been on the Asda website you are missing out my friend. It's amazing! There are about 10 things I want. The hare bedding was actually from my mum a while ago but the woodland bedding is still on the website along with some gorgeous other designs. And the best thing is they are only £12 for a double duvet! £12!! That's cheaper than Primark, people (which has got weirdly expensive in the home department recently, not amused Primark).
The Range Nuts About You Mug
Why do I buy this stuff? I don't even drink hot drinks, why do I need a mug?! Ah well, it's cute and tea/coffee drinking friends or family can always use it if they visit. I'm afraid I won't be the one making the drinks though (not a talent of mine).

pretty honest
I know it's not technically homeware but it will go in my room. I've started reading it already and I'm really liking it so far, especially the stuff about dealing with beauty counter staff- I am terrified of them.

That's not even half of the things I've been buying for the home recently but it's the most interesting/easy to photograph. I bought a lamp which I absolutely love, it's big and grey and gorgeous but I couldn't get a decent picture. Anyway I hope you enjoyed today's post! Thanks for stopping by, lots of love,

Iconemesis iPhone Case

Hey everyone! You may remember that I featured this phone case in my recent wishlist. After that post went up the lovely people at Iconemesis really kindly sent me a discount code which I wasted no time using. I was on the website within 2 minutes ordering the case I'd had my eye on for weeks.
It arrived really quickly and it is exactly what I wanted. The light blue is a really nice change for me as it's not a colour I usually go for but I love the look of it on my phone. I also think the print is really unusual and pretty. I can see myself having this case for a really long time as it feels extremely sturdy and should withstand the many tumbles down the stairs that my phone likes to take.
It's really hard to find iPhone 5c cases so it's nice to come across a website that has just as many 5c cases as other models. Be sure to check out Iconemesis if you're thinking of getting a new case.
Thanks for stopping by! Lots of love,

Eyebrow Routine

Hi everyone. Today I thought I'd share my current eyebrow routine with you. You only have to go back to early posts on my blog (although please don't) to see how bad my eyebrows used to be but I think I've got to a point where I won't look back at pictures and cringe inwardly.
My favourite tweezers are these Browtician Slant Tip Tweezers that I have miraculously managed to keep in their little case (the only way I can save them from the tweezer eating demon that is the sofa cushions). I spent a bit more on these than I usually would but I'm glad I did. They grip the hairs so easily and whip them out with minimal pain. Tweezing is much less of a chore with these.
I then use an old Soap & Glory Archery 2-in-1 Brow Filling Pencil & Brush. The pencil end ran out a long time ago but I really love the brush end so I've kept it. The brush really grips the hairs and I have really long eyebrow hair (but tiny eyelashes- go figure) so it's essential to have a decent brush on hand.
Once I have all the hairs in the same direction I move on to my Soap & Glory Archery Brow Tint And Pencil. The directions say to use the tint end first but I didn't read them at first and did it the other way around and now I can't change. So I go in with the pencil end first to do most of the filling in and to give myself the general outline. It's an ashy brown shade which is perfect for my hair colour.

Then I use the tint end to make the edges neater and more defined. It's a much finer point than the pencil end so you can be more precise with it. It's pretty much the same colour as the other end but not as opaque which makes it perfect for doing the gradient effect at the front of my brows. If I go a bit over the top with this, I take the spoolie again and it takes the colour down a notch.
The last step in my brow routine is to put a gel through it. My current one is the Sleek Brow Perfector in Clear which isn't the most amazing gel in the world. It has a bit of a shine to it if you put too much on which I don't appreciate but it'll do for now.
To see th'eyebrows in action you can check out this post or this post.

That's all for today, I hope you enjoyed this post! Thanks for stopping by, lots of love,
